    Amateur boxing is one of the fastest growing sports in Australia and world-wide. At West Central, we cater to the athlete who wants to go to the next level; whether it be competing locally and interstate, or taking on the world with the dream of becoming an Olympic Champion!

    The Fight Crew members are selected as they go through the development program at West Central. Once they are in the team, they can aspire to become part of Boxing South Australia and Boxing Australia; putting them on the pathway for state and national team representation.

    Within the current team, we proudly have state national and international active gold and silver medalists who are continuing to fulfil their dreams and achieve their goals.

    A strong commitment to boxing is essential for the members of the Fight Crew.

    The West Central HIIT classes will have your heart rate at full capacity, burning more fat in less time!

    Our trainers will focus on the intensity of your workout with timing intervals and specifically tailored cardio body moves and machines.

    Strength based classes will focus on your lifting technique and perfect your exercise form, whilst all classes will incorporate functional, conditioning and plyometric training.

  • HIGH ALTITUDE CHAMBERS

    The most significant results in sports performance comes from effectively integrated altitude training programs, with individual monitoring and progression.

    We can help athletes of all standards reach their optimal performance potential!

    Recent research using Simulated Altitude Training systems, such as ATS equipment, has shown improved performance at sea level following a block of altitude exposure and training. Other studies have shown positive effects, such as, improved repeat sprint performance, increased anabolic hormonal responses and increased red blood cell mass.

    West Central has two high altitude chambers; one is focused around Boxing Altitude including 2 Boxing Bags, a bike and curved treadmill. And the other is Cardio focussed with 4 treadmills.
