Beginner Pathway

Intro To boxing

Perfect for beginners, this class is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of boxing. You’ll learn the basic techniques, stance, footwork, defensive mechanisms, and simple combinations needed. This class is ideal to not only learn the basics of boxing but to perfect them before progressing into our Novice boxing class. No prior experience is needed — only your enthusiasm and drive to start your boxing journey at West Central.

Recommended Duration: 4–6 weeks — Your coach will advise when you’re ready to move to the next level.

Boxing – Novice

This class is where your boxing truly begins to take shape. Ideal for those who have completed Intro to Boxing or who have some prior experience. Whether you’re sharpening your skills or returning to the ring, this class helps you level up through structured training and high-level coaching. Led by experienced coaches, each session focuses on improving technique, mastering combinations, building fitness, and refining footwork. Boxing Novice bridges the gap between fundamentals and advanced boxing, giving you confidence and immersing you in the West Central community.

Boxing – Intermediate

For those with a solid boxing foundation, ready to take their skills further. Sessions focus on refining footwork, sharpening combinations, and developing defensive tactics. Led by experienced coaches, you’ll work through challenging drills, partner work, and optional sparring in a motivating group environment. Personalised feedback will help fine-tune your technique. Whether preparing to compete or just pushing your skills to the next level, this class delivers intensity, technical focus, and growth.

Note: Please bring 16oz gloves and a mouthguard.

Recommended Duration: 9–12 months — Coach will advise when to progress.

Development & Competitive

Development Crew

For boxers who’ve progressed beyond Intermediate and are preparing for Fight Crew. Focuses on sharpening technique, building endurance, and developing the mental toughness required to compete. This is where serious boxers refine their craft before entering the ring — the final stage of preparation.

Important: Entry is by coach’s permission only and not open for public access.

Fight Crew

This is West Central’s most advanced boxing program, reserved for selected athletes committed to competing at an amateur or professional level.

Entry into Fight Crew is by invitation only. This class is designed for boxers actively preparing for competition, with intense, structured training focused on performance, ring IQ, and fight readiness. Sessions include advanced technical work, conditioning, sparring, and strategic drills, all under the guidance of our top-level coaching team.

Fight Crew is more than a class—it’s a team. A unit of disciplined, driven fighters representing West Central in the ring. If you’ve got the skill, dedication, and mindset, this is where you earn your place.
